Sunday Zine Review #26: OWT #12 Voyage

If you've been following the Sunday Zine Review for a while, I'm sure you've seen the previous reviews of OWT Creative´s zines.

For those of you who haven't heard about them, OWT Creative are a design collective from Manchester. During the last year, they've been publishing a monthly zine called OWT showcasing the work of creatives based in the Northwest of England.

When I was living in Liverpool I collaborated on two of their zines and after moving to Edinburgh I've kept in touch with some of the members of the collective and I always try to stay updated about their new and upcoming projects.

The theme for this final issue of the OWT series is 'Voyage'. The zine features the work of 25 artists, including the 4 members of the collective.

As in the previous issues, OWT #12 showcases work in different mediums, from photography to collage, creating an amazing collection of thoughts and visions around the word 'Voyage'.

What I like about the guys from OWT Creative is the effort they put into every new zine they produce. Every zine has some kind of element that makes it different from most of the self-published publications out there. The final issue of OWT comes with a postcard that reads 'Bon Voyage', I guess it is the perfect way to say goodbye to this great series of zines.

Although this is the final issue, OWT creative are moving onto something new and are already looking for contributors for their new project. More info here.

If you'd like to get a copy of their final issue, you can order it at their shop. It is a special edition of 125 copies and it's only £5.
